We are located in beautiful Victoria, BC and we specialize in tough to find MS, PL, and SP quality coins but also carry a wide range of products including investment grade coins, Royal Canadian Mint products, bullion, and rare gold and silver coins.
We offer genuine, hand-picked, quality coins, some of which are professionally graded by the industry’s best and most recognized grading services, such as ICCS and PCGS.
A Passion for Quality
My lifelong fascination with coins began at age eight, sparked by my father, a collector himself. I was hooked immediately, but my journey as a serious collector began in 1987 when I was eleven. That Christmas, I received a 1939 dime graded AU-50. Its frosty, sharp look stood out from my other coins and became my inspiration, defining my passion for collecting quality coins with exceptional eye appeal.
Equal to my love of collecting is the enjoyment of sharing this hobby. The internet has revolutionized our ability to share information and safely distribute quality coins at fair prices, and this is what prompted the creation of Coins of Canada.
I believe every coin has a story. It’s my passion to find those underappreciated treasures—the ones often forgotten in boxes, jars, closets, and basements—that are waiting to be found and adored by a new collector.

Yes, please contact us to make an in-person appointment at either your home, or at our office located near Uptown in Victoria.
Do you have a storefront?
While we do not have a walk-in accessible store front, in-office appraisals takes place in our office located in Victoria at Uptown Shopping Centre. All appraisals are by appointment only.
How long does an appraisal take?
Most appraisals take between 45 and 60 minutes.
Is there a charge for an in-home appraisal?
What is the difference between an in-home appraisal and an in-office appraisal?
In-home appraisals take place in your home. This is a popular option for people with larger, heavier collections due to the difficulty in transporting such a collection. An in-office appraisal takes place in our office located in Victoria at Uptown Shopping Centre.
